Pueblo Grande Museum is located on a 1,500-year-old archaeological site left by the Hohokam culture. The museum has a preserved archaeological site, accessible via trail, with a partially excavated platform mound, a ballcourt, and some replicated prehistoric housing structures. The archaeological site and museum work together to tell the story of the Hohokam culture, as well as the culture of the southwest and the history of Arizona. A National Historic Landmark and an Arizona point of pride, the museum is a part of the City of Phoenix and is the only preserved prehistoric archaeological site within the city.
As of March 23, 2023, Pueblo Grande Museum and Archaeological Park has been renamed to "S'edav Va'aki Museum."
