PastForward 2019 Public Events

This year, we are excited to offer two events during PastForward to the Denver community, free of charge. Attend one or both! We'd love to meet you.

Opening Plenary

Thursday, October 10, 3:45pm - 5:00pm
Sheraton Downtown Denver Hotel, Plaza Ballroom, 1550 Court Place, Denver, Colorado 80202

Help us kick off our conference by hearing about the evolution of historic preservation in Denver from four former mayors of the city and the local preservation champions who made it happen.

Celebrate Women's History

Saturday, October 12, 10:30am - 2pm
Red Rocks Park & Amphitheatre, 18300 W. Alameda Parkway, Morrison, Colorado 80465

This marquee presentation on Women's History is a culmination of the PastForward conversations about representation, visibility, and inclusion. During this event, attendees will hear from Native American advocate Ada Deer, historian Tiya Miles, and self-described "Southern Gothic" singer/songwriter Amythyst Kiah about how we tell layered stories at our historic sites and beyond. The American Express Aspire Award will also be presented. Afterwards, mix and mingle at the beautiful Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

These tickets grant access to free events only and do not include admission to other conference events.

Join us for PastForward, the historic preservation event of the year, October 10-12 in Denver, Colorado. Early-bird registration extended through September 13!
