PastForward 2024 Registration Information

Rates shown are for the full PastForward 2024 conference and include access to all scheduled sessions and access to field studies at additional cost.

Continuing education credits (CEUs) will be available from The American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the American Planning Association (APA) for most educational sessions, field studies, and workshops.

Diversity Scholarships

The Diversity Scholarship Program convenes established and emerging leaders in the historic preservation community at the annual PastForward conference. Scholars receive complimentary registration (valued at $800) and a travel stipend (determined on case-by-case basis based on scholar’s location) to attend PastForward 2024 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Lodging for Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday nights will be provided for national scholars. Scholars will also have the opportunity to participate in bi-monthly, virtual convenings which will be held through September 2025. Have questions? Contact us at conference@savingplaces.org.

Code of Conduct

The National Trust for Historic Preservation wants to ensure that PastForward 2024 is a fulfilling experience for all. Accordingly, all PastForward attendees are expected to follow the Code of Conduct, which applies at all PastForward in-person and virtual events.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your registration and receive a refund, minus a $50 handling fee, if the National Trust receives your request within 30 days of purchase and by September 26, 2024. No refunds will be issued for cancellations requested more than 30 days past the purchase date. No refunds will be given for cancellations requested after September 26, 2024, even if bought less than 30 days prior.

To request a cancellation, you must email us your request in writing. All approved registration refunds will be processed by December 1, 2024.

No-shows are not refunded for any reason. The National Trust does not give credit toward future conferences or National Trust products. The National Trust reserves the right to refuse service.

This May, our Preservation Month theme is “People Saving Places” to shine the spotlight on everyone doing the work of saving places—in big ways and small—and inspiring others to do the same!
