Opposition to Grand Canyon Escalade Streams in During Comment Period

As the Navajo Nation considers approval for the Grand Canyon Escalade Project, Arizona Public Radio reports that opposition responses during the comment period have been streaming in -- thanks in part to our own local preservationists who chimed in last week.

Navajo officials say they’re overwhelmed with public opposition to tribal legislation regarding the Grand Canyon Escalade Project. It would pave the way for a gondola to the confluence of the Colorado and Little Colorado rivers.
