Treasure It Together: Survey Results
The stakeholder interviews allowed us to reach a large local audience, but an online survey was needed to test the findings from stakeholder interviews with a broader potential audience across Los Angeles and beyond to get their thoughts on the future of the Southwest Museum Site. A simple online survey was promoted heavily at local events and through numerous partners across Los Angeles, California, and the Southwest. In just a few short months we received 1,600 responses from three countries and twenty states. The responses were carefully analyzed and mapped to reveal trends in the survey-respondents' location, demographics, and preferred uses and functions they would like to see at the site.
We published an interactive StoryMap to share the survey results, maps, and graphs with the public, along with a concise summary of trends and key findings. These results have helped guide the Steering Committee’s work and were a critical quantitative component of the market research.
