The annual Lummis Day Festival is just two weeks away!

Head to Northeast LA from June 3-5th for an exciting weekend full of events, live music, arts, crafts, and cultural performances. The Treasure it Together team will have a table at the historic Southwest Museum site through the weekend to chat about where we are in our planning work and other upcoming events. Come and say hi!

This year, we are incredibly excited to welcome the Heidi Duckler Dance Theater to the historic Southwest Museum site for a special performance inspired by Charles Lummis’s 143-day journey from Cincinnati to Los Angeles!

What: “143 Days,” a unique, site-specific dance performance by the Heidi Duckler Dance Theater, which has created memorable dance experiences in extraordinary, non-traditional locations for more than three decades. This mobile performance will include six dancers accompanied by local musician Chris Garcia playing an array of indigenous instruments.

When: Saturday, June 4th, from 4–5 p.m. A short meet-and-greet will take place following the performance.

Where: The historic Southwest Museum site, 234 Museum Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90065.

Tickets: Space for this one-of-a-kind performance is limited. Tickets are required for this special event.
