Distinctive Destinations™ Program Benefits
The National Trust will provide the following Program Benefits to the Destination Site as part of its participation in the Program. While the level of Program Benefits listed below will not decrease, the National Trust reserves the right, at any time and in its sole discretion, to amend or change the Program Benefits.
- Webpage & Online Directory. The National Trust will maintain an integrated webpage and online directory dedicated to the Program on savingplaces.org, which will include information on the Destination Site, and new and unique ways for visitors to the website to discover and engage with historic places.
- Promotional Services. The National Trust will promote the Destination Site as part of the Program through the following promotional channels and opportunities:
- E-mail marketing and other digital promotional opportunities;
- An outreach campaign to various media outlets to promote the Program and the participants in the Program, including outreach to travel-oriented media outlets;
- Paid social media campaign on Facebook and elsewhere; and
- Paid digital advertising campaign, which may include banner ads on relevant websites.
- Social Media Toolkit. The National Trust will provide the Destination Site with a social media toolkit, which will include, but not be limited to sample language for social medial posts.
- Networking Opportunities. The Destination Site will have access to Forum Connect, an online networking platform for professionals working to save places, to network and collaborate with other participants in the Program.
- Additional Services. The National Trust, at its discretion, may provide additional services and materials to the Destination Site, which may include, but not be limited to, decals and buttons, coordination of free museum days, training modules and webinars, and regular consumer marketing campaigns.
