The International Tennis Hall of Fame (ITHF) is in The Newport Casino, a National Historic Landmark in Newport, Rhode Island, that first opened on July 26, 1880. The ITHF preserves and promotes the history of tennis and celebrates its champions, serving as a vital partner in the global growth of tennis. With over 1,900 artifacts of tennis history displayed throughout the exhibit galleries, the museum delivers an engaging visitor experience. The museum's seven-acre historic property also includes 13 outdoor grass courts, which are home to the ATP Tour Hall of Fame Open for the Van Alen Cup, held annually in July.
