National Trust Congratulates TMF Board on Achieving Structural Parity

The National Trust for Historic Preservation congratulates The Montpelier Foundation Board of Directors for electing a highly qualified slate of nominees recommended by the Montpelier Descendants Committee which formalizes the commitment to structural parity.

The National Trust has been deeply engaged with both parties during this difficult time and have witnessed earnest efforts to come to a resolution. We look forward to seeing the end of this period of conflict and the restoration of Montpelier’s reputation. The National Trust remains committed to the strong, inclusive, and sustained stewardship of this powerful place.
