Reviews

Fendall Hall, one of the oldest homes in the city of Eufaula, Alabama, was completed in 1860 by Edward Young, a leading citizen of the city. The house contains rare interior decorative painting dating from the 1880's, as well as many artifacts and decorations belonging to the family or to the time period. The Hall remained in the family for five generations, until 1972. Listed on the National Register, the house was purchased by the Alabama Historical Commission for preservation as a house museum. It has since been restored and interpreted from its 1880–1916 condition, including the elaborate wall paintings.
