The Mānoa Heritage Center is a cultural and historic site that includes an ancient stone heiau, a native garden of rare and endangered Hawaiian plants, and a historic Tudor-style home. An important link to the past, the heiau (thought to be an agricultural worshiping site) is one of the few traditional Hawaiian structures that still exists in Honolulu's urban landscape. The Center promotes the thoughtful stewardship of Hawaii's natural and cultural heritage through preserving and interpreting a 3.5-acre natural landscape.
