This could be the year that a future is secured for the treasured Mitchell Park Domes. However, funding is still needed.

In November, the Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors committed $30 million to this project in a unanimous vote.

Yet, the project requires a capital of $134 million.

The Domes are a statewide destination that brings visitors from all over the country (and even the world!). The Friends of the Domes are requesting that Governor Evers include a $10 million commitment for the Domes Reimagined project in the state 2025/26 budget.

To make this happen, we need your voice once again.

Milwaukee County residents and people from around the world have consistently voiced their support for saving the Domes since 2017, when county leaders began considering options for the future of these Midcentury Modern gems. The Domes are visited by over 250,000 people per year and are an iconic part of Milwaukee’s skyline.

Take a minute to let Governor Evers and your state legislatures know how important a financial commitment to the Mitchell Park Domes would mean for preserving this beloved Milwaukee icon for generations.
