This Holiday, Cast Your Vote for Two National Trust Historic Sites!

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, especially at National Trust Historic Sites Filoli and Lyndhurst. Thanks to their elaborate tree trimmings, festive treats, and magical holiday events, these two sites are both candidates in the USA TODAY 10Best "Favorite Historic Home Tour" category. But now it is up to you to vote these historic homes into the top spots!

Lyndhurst of Tarrytown, New York, will be celebrating with A Very Duchess Holiday through December 27, displaying holiday dishes, jewels, silver, and clothes that belonged to the last owner, Anna Gould, the Duchess of Talleyrand.

On Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, visitors can purchase tickets to see the performance Mr. Dickens Tells a Christmas Carol and enjoy baked goods and beverages provided by Red Bar Bakery in the Lyndhurst Carriage House.

From November 27 to December 5, Filoli welcomed guests to their holiday celebration, “Filoli—A Holiday Jewel,” that transformed the house into a holiday wonderland featuring a holiday boutique, festive buffet lunches and dinners, and a special visit from Santa for Bay Area families. More than 800 volunteers helped at the annual nine-day fundraising event, which supports the 645-acre estate in Woodside, California.

Remember to vote once per day through Monday, December 21 at 12 p.m. ET.
