Brent Leggs
President and CEO, National Trust for Historic Preservation

Brent Leggs is the eleventh President and CEO of the National Trust for Historic Preservation and has served in the role since 2026. Brent has been with the National Trust for over twenty years, most recently as the founding executive director of its African American Cultural Heritage Action Fund, which has raised over $200 million for the preservation of sites associated with Black history across the country. Brent is a former Resident of the American Academy in Rome, Harvard University Loeb Fellow, 2018 recipient of the Robert G. Stanton National Preservation Award, and author of Preserving African American Historic Places, which is considered the “seminal publication on preserving African American historic sites” by the Smithsonian Institution.

Huy Pham
Executive Director, Asian & Pacific Islander Americans in Historic Preservation

Huy Pham is the Executive Director of Asian & Pacific Islander Americans in Historic Preservation (APIAHiP), the only national nonprofit dedicated to protecting historic places and cultural resources significant to Asian and Pacific Islander Americans. Under his leadership, APIAHiP has expanded its national reach through a historic grant program, a growing technical services and emerging technologies portfolio, and sustained advocacy at the local, state, and federal levels. Huy brings more than a decade of preservation practice, including directing programs at the Washington Trust for Historic Preservation and serving as a historic preservation specialist for the City of San Antonio. He holds degrees in Architecture, Historic Preservation, and Communication Studies.

Yiselle Santos Rivera
President-Elect, American Institute of Architects

Yiselle Santos Rivera, American Institute of Architects (AIA), is the 2026 President-Elect of AIA, the first Latina to hold this role in the organization's 169-year history. A Puerto Rican architect, medical planner, and organizational strategist, she is Principal and Owner of Santos Rivera Advisory, and a Lecturer at Howard University's College of Engineering and Architecture. She is a doctoral candidate in Leadership Psychology with a concentration in neuroscience at William James College. The founder of WIELD and co-founder of LA.IDEA, Yiselle's work centers on designing professions, organizations, and spaces where people can belong, thrive, and lead.
