AAPI Digital Public History Project Showcase

What are some ways to share the history of AAPI communities in the United States beyond physical structures?

In May 2025, as part of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, join the National Council on Public History's AAPI Working Group, the National Trust for Historic Preservation, and Asian and Pacific Islander Americans in Historic Preservation for a dynamic virtual event spotlighting digital projects from AAPI public history organizations.

Each project—from place-based initiatives and community archives to innovative digital humanities work—provides examples of how the histories of various communities can be preserved beyond the preservation of a physical structure or place.

This webinar included a number of links and resources shared in the chat. Download the resource document (PDF) that includes all shared links, social media handles for presenters, and other projects shared by attendees during the session.
