Extra Time: 2026 World Cup Guide
Everyone has World Cup fever! Starting June 11, the world will gather in the United States of America, Mexico, and Canada to see the best-of-the-best play in men’s soccer. Because you know you won’t be watching games 24-7 we pulled together a list of places in the United States that you should explore over the course of the tournament. These sites are pulled from our list of Historic Hotels of America, Backing Historic Small Restaurant grantees, National Trust Historic Sites, Historic Artists’ Homes and Studios program, and Main Street programs. May the best team win!
Note: We tried to keep the sites within 30 miles of the stadium but have marked some special places that are under 50 miles if you find yourself with extra time.
