National Register Guide Stories
The National Register of Historic Places is the official list of the nation's historic places worthy of preservation. Administered by the National Park Service, the National Register helps identify, evaluate, and protect America's historic and archaeological resources. But even this useful preservation tool can get a little confusing, so we at Saving Places teamed up with Jim Gabbert, a historian with the National Park Service, to create our National Register of Historic Places Guide.
